Sometimes a dreary, foggy day is the best time to complete a mission of kindness.

Today I woke up and found it was foggy and dreary out. I wasn’t too excited to be out and about – I had a lot of errands to run. But, after awhile, the sun starting peaking through the fog and I decided that today would be the day I would complete my first mission. I was nervous and excited!

A quick trip to Target found me some awesome little goodies: some chocolate truffles, a little blank journal of one of my favorite Christmas movies – “A Christmas Story”, and a $5 gift card tucked away in a pretty “peace” bag.

 

I put it all together and wracked my brain on where I would leave it. I decided our public library would be the perfect spot! After I picked my son up from preschool, we headed over to our favorite library. It was busier than usual today but we found a great place to leave the bag.

 

 

 

This was definitely a great way to make myself feel better! And I can’t wait to do it again! One of our advent calendar activities this month is to perform a random act of kindness. We’ll probably be doing something similar that day!
