MISSION: RAK at the Nursery
We’re starting to get the yucky late-fall weather here in Pittsburgh: rainy days, grey skies, chilly temperatures. But Affiliated Agent A’s mission from sunny California definitely helps to brighten up our corner of the world! I love this mission! (See also: I WANT TO GO TO THERE.)

I love my hometown and the people in it. So it is always wonderful to do a SAL mission here! My mission was at our local nursery. This place is like a slice of heaven in my own backyard. It’s like going to private park. They even let you bring your dog here!
I purchased a wind chime about a year ago and decided today would be a nice day to do a mission. What better place to leave it than at a garden nursery. I love to do missions that might inspire people. The wind chime has the word “believe” cut out into the middle of a butterfly. What better way to inspire someone than with the promise of hope.
The nursery encourages people to come in and take pictures. So it was not a problem to bring my camera. There were not many people at the nursery in the afternoon so it was actually pretty easy to make the drop. I decided to leave it on a bench that was close the exit. I hope that whoever found it will be inspired to “believe” because if you do, anything could happen!

Alden Lane is a gorgeous nursery – and what a terrific spot for a mission!!
I’ve been there for the annual quilt show a couple of times. Can’t you picture quilts hanging from the trees?
