MISSION: Sharing the Love of Christ at Christmas
I’m pretty open about my faith. I’m Catholic, and my faith is very, very important to me. It’s a part of my daily life, and it informs how I live and move through the world. One of the things my religious tradition asks of me is to take care of others. I try to do that through this project, and I see that many of my Affiliated Agents of various faiths and beliefs try to do that as well by participating here.
This mission has a Christian theme, which I find very beautiful. Ultimately, it is about love. Regardless of beliefs, I think that’s one thing we can all agree on.

LOCATION:

Logan, Utah
TIME:
~1:00 p.m.
For $26 I made up 18 little gift packets.
2 were simply enough quarters to do a load of laundry.
4 were socks or gloves with a couple extra dollars to be used as needed – left at the local bus station.
12 were little gifts bags of hot cocoa, candy canes and “Hershey’s Hugs” – left at the library, movie store, coffee shop, on cars, and bicycles.I work at a small group home for men with mental illnesses. I let them in on the fun in strategically placing some of the gifts. They had a great time; wish I could have gotten a picture of their smiles while hiding the gifts.
In my personal note I wrote:
We wish we could have given you so much more.
Other gift you will receive that you may not see.1. We are praying for you.
2. A God that Loves you so very much!
